Timestamp a document
Timestamping certifies the existence of a document at a specific date.
For a PDF, the timestamp can be added to the document itself, which stays a PDF and opens anywhere. For any file, the ASiC-S envelope keeps the document and the token together. Either way, the proof of prior existence is enforceable, useful for protecting your creations, inventions, contracts or any document whose date needs to be established with certainty.
By encrypting your document with Sigalion Vault before timestamping, you can store it securely, including on shared storage or in the cloud.
Your document never leaves your device. Only its digital fingerprint (SHA-256) is sent to the timestamping authority, and the envelope is also built locally.
